Fall 2017 Registration

Registration Procedure

  1. Click on the “Start Registration” button at the bottom of this page and follow the prompts. Even if you are paying by cash or check, please register online as early as possible to assist with class planning.
  2. Once registration information is submitted, you will be given a Paypal link both in the web browser and emailed to you. Paypal will allow you to pay by credit card or electronic check. Alternative to Paypal you can mail a check to Ding Hao or bring it in to the first week of class and pay at the registration desk.

Note: Registration is not official until payment is received.

School age tuition is $330 (including the non-refundable $25 registration fee). Families with more than two children attending class will receive an additional discount according to the table below. This tuition covers one semester. Classes are between 9:30 and 11:30 AM.

In addition to classes for school age children, Ding Hao offers a Wawa class for preschool children during their first year at the school. This class is intended for 2½-3 year olds and meets from 9:30 to 11 AM.

The adult conversation class meets from 9:45 to 11:15 AM. In the Fall, the adult class begins the second week of the semester. In the Spring, the adult class ends one week earlier than the other classes.

Ding Hao aims to never turn away a child due to financial difficulty. Scholarships are available via the Sher Shon Kung Memorial Scholarship.

Number of Children Tuition
1 child $330
2 children $660
3 children $850
4 children $1040
5 children $1230
Wawa Preschool (2½-3 year olds) $200 (each)
Adult $175 (each)

There are two annual fees charged in the fall semester:

  • A $20 PTO fee is charged per family.
  • The CCAGP (Chinese Cultural Association of Greater Philadelphia) is the umbrella organization under which Ding Hao functions. All parents are considered CCAGP members and are charged an annual fee. The fee is $25 per family per year.

Note: New families in the spring semester will be charged CCAGP fees and one-half the PTO fees with spring tuition.

Tuition will be refunded on a prorated cost-per-class basis to those who withdraw after attending the first, second or third class. Fifty percent will be refunded to those who remain through the fourth class. After the fourth class, no fees will be refunded.

Ding Hao will make every effort to make up any time lost when schedule changes occur because of unforeseen events or inclement weather; however, the school will not offer refunds in the event of scheduling changes.
