Betty Foo Receives Community Service Award

Our own Betty Foo, Principal of Ding Hao Chinese School, was honored recently by the Monte Jade Science & Technology Association of Mid-Atlantic (MJMA) 2008 Annual Banquet and Award Dinner. Mrs. Foo was given the MJMA Community Service Award for her work as language teacher for Radnor and Lower Merion School Districts, for her great leadership and dedication to Chinese language education for both the ethnic Chinese community and the greater Philadelphia community at large. She was also honored in 2007 ago by the Angels in Adoption Program sponsored by the congressional coalition on Adoption Institute. MJMA is a non-profit organization whose membership comprises primarily Asian Americans and whose goal is the advancement of technical excellence and business interests of individual and corporate members. Congratulations, Betty!
