The CCAGP

who wish to learn Chinese
The mission of the Chinese Cultural Association of Greater Philadelphia is to "promote the learning of Chinese language and culture, and to help increase mutual understanding between the community and its ethnic Chinese residents." The CCAGP provides funding to both the Ding Hao and Main Line Chinese Schools, and sponsors after-school activities for children (i.e. Chinese yo-yo, folk dance, and musical instrument instruction), classes for adults (i.e. Tai Chi and yoga), and periodic seminars for parents of all children in both schools.

All Ding Hao parents are members of the CCAGP through annual dues collected with your registration. This membership entitles you to attend the above-mentioned seminars (listen for notice of such seminars at Circle Time or check this website!), and to attend and vote at the annual members meeting each spring. This is important, as the CCAGP's funding and guidance will contribute to the future direction of the Ding Hao Chinese School!
The CCAGP is currently headed by Dr. Wei-Heng Shih, former Main Line Chinese School Principal, and has 9 board members, including parents from both the Ding Hao and Main Line Chinese Schools as well as the Principals from each school. Representing Ding Hao are Betty Foo, Kerry Kostenbauder, Rick Rest, and Jeffrey Liu.
