I hope you all had a restful Labor Day weekend. This past week, the staff and I have been reviewing the enrollment for the Fall semester. The teachers have sent out emails to all of you to remind families about summer homework, but more importantly that if you are returning and have not registered, please register as soon as possible. We are hoping to see you all this coming Saturday at 9:15. Classes will start at 9:30.
For the first time, it has been very challenging to determine how the classes should be organized because of the low number of registrations. In order to cause less confusion for the first day, I would like to suggest that you go to the registration table and tell the registrar who your teacher was last semester. This will allow the registrar to inform you which room you should go to. If your child is new to Ding Hao, the registrar will give you a classroom assignment based on your child’s age and his/her experience with Chinese.
Below you will find the new class assignments 2016-2017. We’ve renamed the classes, so please look for your last semester’s teacher to find your class.
We will have these room assignments and other important information next to the registration table.
This Saturday, we will be celebrating Chinese Moon Festival. Chinese moon cakes will be handed by the teachers to their classes. Please alert us if your child has an allergy. Again, I look forward to seeing all of you on Saturday!
